The Bali provincial government has officially opened a new fast ferry terminal at Nusa Penida, dramatically reducing travel time from Sanur Beach in South Bali to just 25 minutes. The terminal features modern passenger facilities, designated boat lanes and improved ticketing infrastructure. Ticket prices remain competitive at IDR 75,000–150,000 one-way depending on operator. Nusa Penida is famed for its dramatic sea cliffs, crystal-clear waters, Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach. The new terminal is expected to handle up to 5,000 passengers daily. Travellers are advised to book tickets in advance during peak season (July–August and December–January).
